NACE has been setting the standard for the protective coating industry for the last 30 years and at Altila we comply with all their standards. This means that our coating inspectors know all the aspects and norms that are crucial for qualitative and safe coatings. At Altila we offer specialized quality control before, during and after the coating application. It’s crucial that inspections occur at all three of these moments because at each time, different aspects will be checked. Moreover, our inspectors also perform both destructive and non-destructive readings. This can range from readings on the climatic conditions, surface cleanliness, roughness, thickness, attachment, glow, color and more. Our inspectors are trained to know exactly which readings should be done during which point of the coating process. Thanks to their expertise and certificates, they can guarantee qualitative inspections. Our company does not only do the inspections, we also take care of all the reports, method statements and specifications that come with coating inspections. Proper coating inspections for these buildings are very important because coatings protect the structure of the building. If these installations are not protected properly then this can lead to very high reparation costs.
